Institutions change one conversation at a time. The challenge for leaders, then, is to focus and sustain conversations so that significant issues and opportunities that shape the future of an institution can command attention. To have such ongoing intentionality about conversations within an institution requires a convening template, of sorts, to keep them on track. Such a template is called a strategic framework for institutional change.
